Operational areas

MANAGEMENT AND ADMINISTRATION

The Management of the institution is entrusted to the Secretary of the Fabbriceria, who proceeds to implement the operations decided by the Board of Directors, and has executive responsibility for the budget, for planning, for personnel and for the implementation of new activities.

The Administrative Secretariat deals with the management of the accounts and the fiscal compliance of the institution; it is responsible for keeping the records and correspondence and also drafts the deeds and documents relating to the administrative activities.

 

CARE AND CONSERVATION OF THE HERITAGE

The Technical Office is in charge of the control of the entire complex of Santa Croce, managing operations of maintenance, conservation and restoration, co-ordinating the operations performed by external firms with specific skills, and co-ordinating the security operations.

The Documentation and Research Office takes care of the documentation relating to the historic and artistic heritage, is in charge of the Archives and the Library of the Opera, and keeps the documentation register relating to the complex updated; it also manages the service for consultation of the Archives of the Opera.

 

SERVICES

The Control and Reception Unit co-ordinates the activities relating to the custody of the complex, the correct and adequate utilisation of the spaces and the services for the public.
